About Us

Spa Dining provides a selection of culinary-savvy packaged meals to the consumer who is
committed to a long-term, sustainable meal plan.  These products are developed from the
personal recipes of Cecilia Lam, founder and president.   

Cecilia has dedicated two decades of her life toward creating a better dining experience for
persons with dietary restrictions for medical or personal health reasons.  Having helped many
people through successful weight control and dietary compliance programs, she now brings
her considerable expertise, training and experience to you through the Spa Dining product line.

Cecilia combines a passion for cooking and fine dining with more than 20 years of hands-on
professional experience in the food and health sciences industry.  As a type 2 diabetic herself,
she has experienced first-hand the lifestyle changes necessary for long-term management of
her condition, at the same striving to minimize their impact on the quality of everyday life.

Cecilia holds an Honors degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of
Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as a Polytechnic Diploma in Food Technology.  
Her career began with Nestlé Foods, where she worked in product development and quality
assurance of manufactured foods such as tomato ketchup, milk formula and dairy products.  
As a food microbiologist, she was involved in development of the laminated foil pouch
packaging widely used in convenience food products today.  Cecilia also started and grew a
successful corporate catering business serving high-quality meals to a broad clientele of
medium and large companies in Silicon Valley.

An accomplished cook with a talent for innovation, Cecilia has supplemented her technical
background with formal training in a number of European and Asian culinary disciplines.  She
is widely traveled, has lived on 3 continents, and indulges a passion for fine dining in diverse
cultures.   

Hardly a day goes by when Cecilia is not reviewing her recipe books for new product ideas.   
As she strives to deliver sustainable, balanced nutrition to her customers, she sees no reason
why they can't enjoy an attractive and satisfying meal every time.  Her simple motto is:
